Our Weekend Services
Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. We invite you to experience what the good news means both intellectually and relationally at our Sunday worship services at 10:30am. You can engage with others as much as you want, or remain anonymous if you prefer. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.
Authentic Worship
Each Sunday morning at 10:30am, we gather in our auditorium, to sing, pray, read scripture, commune in the Lord's Supper and hear a message from God's Word. We encourage and listen to each other in conversation. We honor God as our Father and thank him for the forgiving gift of his Son, Jesus. We allow the Spirit of God to encourage us as we worship and interact with others. At the Northwest Church, worship is central to everything. We know worship takes place all week long, but gathering together on Sunday's provides the perfect opportunity to rejoice together and encourage one another in this life's journey with God!
Sharing God's Word
We believe that practical, relevant teaching is the catalyst for transformation in an individual's life. God gave us His Word as a place to learn about him and the life he wants us to live and share. We learn the history of God as he cared for his people as well as his overwhelming mercy towards his Sons and Daughters. God's Word is inspired by God, completely accurate and our authority regarding Christian beliefs and the guide for Christian living.
We value God's Word as it gives us an accurate picture of God and points us to him and his saving grace given to us through the death of his one and only Son, Jesus. You can expect that each Sunday morning will include a set-aside time for hearing from Scripture, as well as practical teaching surrounding God's Word.
